Lawyer Cristián Amat Pomés graduated in 2001 from the Faculty of Law of the Gabriela Mistral University, he has a Diploma in Competition Economics, in Legislation and Tax Practices and in Management of Labor Law in the Company.

From 2001 to 2005, he worked as a lawyer in a reputable law firm in the city of Santiago in charge of the judicial area of said office, also providing companies and individuals with labor, corporate and tax advice of different kinds. From 2005 to 2007, he is part of the Prosecutor's Office of an important Telecommunications company in this country, in charge of its judicial, tax and antitrust matters. In October 2007, together with the lawyer Nicolás Ruiz-Tagle Ortúzar, they founded Estudio Amat, Ruiz-Tagle & Compañía Abogados.

He has been appointed arbitrator judge in civil disputes on various occasions.
